Still an issue? - Email Deletion UI Friction (mobile)

Issue Summary

When tapping to move an email to the bin, a pop-over appears that requires waiting several seconds before returning to the inbox, creating unnecessary friction.

Current Experience

After selecting an email for deletion:

• A pop-over appears and remains on screen

• I must wait several seconds before continuing

• This creates micro-delays that accumulate to a frustrating experience

• The interruption makes the app feel less native and fluid

Recommendation

The email should disappear immediately after tapping delete, with:

• Background processing of the deletion

• No visible pop-over unless an error occurs

• Automatic return to inbox if deletion fails

• A smoother, more native-feeling experience

These small UI improvements would significantly reduce friction and improve the app's usability, making me more likely to continue using it.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
